What About Her?
Justine Carter-Soleyn is an independent documentary filmmaker. A Queens native, she got her start taking a class in her Year 1 semester at Bard High School Early College Queens titled, "Women of Color: Feminism", that sought to explore the struggle of what it is to be a woman of color. From there she went to CUNY Baruch College obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in Communications. In her time in college, she took classes that focused on the ethics of image making. Through an internship with Hook & Loop, Infor, she was able to expand her knowledge and grasp certain aspects of videography.
Justine continues to work on projects that focus on bringing her ideas to life through storytelling.
