About Me

Justine Carter-Soleyn is an independent documentary filmmaker. A Queens native, she got her start taking a class in her Year 1 semester at Bard High School Early College Queens titled, "Women of Color: Feminism", that sought to explore the struggle of what it is to be a woman of color. From there she went to CUNY Baruch College obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in Corporate Communications. In her time in college, she took classes that focused on the ethics of image making. Through an internship with Hook & Loop, Infor, she was able to expand her knowledge of videography.

Justine continues to work on projects that focus on bringing her ideas to life through storytelling.

Currently, Justine works as an Associate Producer for ITV.
